This week Fat Albert hit is 499th and 500th home run in the same game, which makes him the first player in MLB history to accomplish this feat.
We all thought Albert would reach this milestone last year, but injuries prevented Albert’s strive for 500. He’s the third youngest player to reach this milestone.
After having a down year in ’13 it seems he’s back to the Albert of yester years in ’14 which is a welcomed sight for Angels fans and the brass who cut that $240 million dollar check.
