St. Louis Rams Players Shows Support to Ferguson by ‘Hands up, Don’t Shoot’ Before Facing the Oakland Raiders

It’s always cool to see athletes take a stand on issues in the community. In recent news it was announced that former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson will not face any criminal charges for killing an eighteen year old African-American male by the name of Mike Brown. The Rams players mimicked the moniker ‘Hands up, Don’t shoot’ to pay respect to Brown and the residents of Ferguson, Mo. No words were said during this moment, but the gesture was powerful. If you haven’t seen it, see the video below.

  1. Your Ram players should be disciplined for their display at the Oakland game. Opinions of the players should not be at a game. I am really disappointed in the non-action of the franchise against this type of display!

    1. All they made was a gesture.. how is it different from dancing, praying or exc during pre game announcements? I’m glad they didn’t, would’ve been stupid if they did..
