The Legend of Matt Barnes is growing

Matt Barnes has always been a player you keep your eye on. He went from bouncing around from team to team to finally putting himself on the map with the Warriors in the 2000’s. Barnes has always been a glue, hustle type of guy who isn’t afraid to mix it up with anybody on the court. I would’ve had him on my All-NBA goon team, cough, cough at Ron.

If you are thinking why the fuck is that guy writing about Matt Barnes? You need to take a step back and after you read this post you will understand Matt Barnes is awesome.

Within the last seven days Barnes has done a lot to catch my attention. He’s body slammed a 7 footer (sorry Aron Baynes), addressed the J.R. Smith super punch (via twitter), gave Arik Armstead props for being drafted in the 1st round by the San Francisco 49ers and at the same damn time shoot a jab at Colin Kaepernick (via Instagram), twitter check Casey Jacobsen for saying why is Barnes shooting in crunch time and making the game saving block to lead the Clippers to an important 1st round over the Spurs.

Barnes will say what is on his mind and you have to respect him for it. He called the quarterback of my favorite team a hoe, lol, turns around and tells Casey to eat a d*ck and then makes a game sealing play. How tight is that? Barnes is damn near lawless, what can’t he do? This is not about stats, this is about the overall tightness of the man named Matt Kelly Barnes. The legend is out of control right now and it started for me during the NBA lockout when Barnes punched a player during I think was a Drew League game and later on during on hit a game winner.

What will Barnes do next?
