Cleveland Indians’ Ace Corey Kluber Makes History

The AL Cy Young winner from the 2014 season has had a rocky year thus far. Prior to yesterday’s game against the St.Louis Cardinals, Kluber was 0-5. With an ERA of 5.04, Kluber is not in Cy Young form, but he turned back the clock in a showdown against the Cardinals.

Kluber went on to strike out 18, which is the most by an AL pitcher since 1998, and the person who accomplished that feat, was Roger Clemens.  Kluber allowed one hit in eight innings, and finally got his first win of the season. It has been a rough year for my Indians, but maybe this can be the turning point of something good.
