Watch: Steph Curry goes for 40 points in NBA Playoffs return against the Trail Blazers

I was personally shocked that the Golden State Warriors played two-time MVP Steph Curry last night. It was a shock to me and for those following, but Curry had been out 15 days and if he didn’t play last night this series versus the Portland Trail Blazers would be tied at two apiece.

The Warriors brass had a plan to play Curry around 25 minutes, but when starting point guard Shawn Livingston got two technical fouls in a row after getting fouled on a dunk and getting a no call late in the second quarter head coach Steve Kerr had to throw that plan away.

During the second half Curry started finding his rhythm looking like the best player on the planet and what he did in overtime was out of this world scoring 17 points in five minutes was something I can’t recall seeing ever. It was amazing and check out the full package of highlights.
