Bearcats Clark lands two-way deal with Houston Rockets

Jacob Evans was drafted in the first round by the Golden State Warriors (will they play again in the playoffs) making him the first Bearcat since Jason Maxiell to be called by Adam Silver. Gary Clark was a walking double-double in viewed by many scouts as a Top 60-70 player coming into the draft, but his name wasn’t called. All wasn’t lost because Clark signed a two-way deal with the Houston Rockets which will allow him to possibly get a chance to play in the NBA in the 2018-19 season.

He will play with their G-League associate, Rio Grande Valley Viper (Edinburg, Texas) and get some summer league run in July.

How a Two-way contract works.

Good luck to Mr. Clark, I’m sure he can be a Draymond Green type player and in the NBA/G-League the game is more wide open and I think it will suit him well.

Sorry, I took a while to post this #BearcatNation, I’ve been busy.
