Flashback Friday: Taking a look at the Nike Zoom Revis

One of the all-time great cornerbacks hung up his cleats on Wednesday and I just wanted to take a quick trip in the time machine. Darrelle Revis played 11 seasons with the Jets, Buccaneers, Patriots and Chiefs. He is most known for his play with the Jets and winning a ship with the Patriots. The seven time pro bowler and four time all pro amassed over $100 million while playing in the NFL and he was the last defensive back to get his own signature shoe.

It is pretty dope he got his own shoe in 2012, while it wasn’t as dope as the Deion Sanders shoes pre-Revis it showed how much of an impact he had on the game to get his own signature shoe. Most players nowadays have PE shoes that are sweet like Dez Bryant and Michael Crabtree to name a few, but to actually get your own shoe in the NFL that is major.

So I just wanted to show Revis and his Nike Zoom’s some love since he retired.
