Now the main question is will the Bearcats be able to win the first Crosstown Shootout in the new Fifth Third Arena?

Per GoBearcats

The University of Cincinnati men’s basketball team will play host to Xavier in the 86th annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout on Saturday, Dec. 8 at newly renovated Fifth Third Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 with a scheduled tip time of 2 p.m. ET.

Cincinnati’s complete 2018-19 schedule with television information and tip times will be announced by the American Athletic Conference at a later date.

Some of UC’s other previously announced nonconference home opponents include Ohio State in the season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 7 and UCLA on Wednesday, Dec. 19. Cincinnati and Ohio State will play their first game on UC’s campus since 1920. The Bruins will be making their first appearance in Clifton.
Announced in June by the AAC, the Bearcats will welcome nine league foes to Fifth Third Arena in 2018-19: UCF, UConn, Houston, Memphis, USF, SMU, Tulane, Tulsa and Wichita State.
