Theo Johnson enjoyed his visit to Nippert Stadium

Over the weekend I was able to speak with 2020 class tight end Theo Johnson about his visit to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. Johnson was able to see the Bearcats beat down the Bulldogs at Nippert Stadium for the home opener.

He is from Windsor, ON, attends Holy Names High School and is labeled a three-star recruit by 247sport.com.  The three-star recruit measures at 6’5″ and 235 pounds.

Check out what Johnson had to say about his visit to Cincinnati.

JS: How was your visit to Cincinnati? What did you like most?

TJ: I really enjoyed my official visit to Cincinnati. I like the players and the overall feel of the team.

JS: Which coaches are you in contact with?

TJ: I’m in contact with Coach (Luke) Fickell and offensive coordinator (Mike) Denbrock.

JS: Do you have an offer with Cincinnati? Who else is showing interest?

TJ: I have an offer from Cincinnati as well as Penn State, Syracuse and Boston College (others also). Michigan, Michigan State and Miami are showing interest.

JS: How would you describe your game?

TJ: I would describe my game as powerful. Being as big as I am I really like using my size to my advantage against defenders.
