Strong second half key to Cincinnati’s 68-41 exhibition win against Tusculum

First off I want to say everybody should be excited for the reopening of Fifth Third Arena, I haven’t gotten to experience it yet, but I will next week and second I want to say #BearcatNation don’t panic social media was up and arms about the early play of the team. I know it is exhibition against Tusculum and people want to see total dominance, but sometimes coaches use this game to experiment.

Because this is an exhibition game, I’m not going to go into extreme detail because it is too early to panic and one thing Cronin and crew has done for a long time is win 20 games or more consistently and until proven otherwise we expect that or more from this crew. The main thing will to see how players adjust to their new roles.

Cane Broome led the team in scoring with 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and 7-of-8 from the line and Tre Scott led the team in rebounds with 10.

Wednesday will be when fans can start critiquing under a microscope, but even then it is a long season.

Check out the highlights from the came on Thursday night.
