Bearcats land former Moeller swingman Jeremiah Davenport

John Brannen has finally received some good news on the recruiting from by adding swingman Jeremiah Davenport. Davenport played at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia last season after being a standout at Moeller (Cincinnati). The 6’5″ swingman was committed to Wright State last season before reopening his recruitment and going to Virginia. He also had offers from Duquesne, Virginia Tech, UAB, ECU and Western Carolina.

I added a link of Davenport’s highlights below.

Brannen went into his Luke Fickell bag of tricks and landed a local star. Davenport seems to have a nice inside outside game and has the frame to be able to handle contact. It will be interesting to see who else they land for the 2019 class, but this signing is a step in the right direction.
