The hometown Cincinnati Reds draft Cincinnati Bearcats outfielder A.J. Bumpass in the 39th round of the MLB Draft. Bumpass had a heck of a season helping the Bearcats to the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 1970’s. He had eight homeruns, 63 RBIs and six triples while hitting .290 for the season.
Congrats to Bumpass for getting drafted by the Reds.
