J.T.’s defensive game balls for UCLA win

We gave out offensive game balls for the Cincinnati Bearcats win over the UCLA Bruins earlier today and now it is time to show the defensive some love. Honestly besides two big plays that gave up 114 they only gave up a total of 218 yards to the Chip Kelly offense. This unit caused four turnovers and had six tackles for loss on Thursday night. They did all of this without arguably their best player on James Wiggins who is out for the season with a left ACL tear.

I almost could give the whole defense a ball, but let’s see who received game balls for yesterday’s performance!

  1. Defense was very impressive. Wiggins out. First game of the season. Saving some things for O$U (I’m sure of it) next week. Love what we’re cooking up in Clifton. Also nice to see all of the local kids out there flying around making stuff happen. High school football in the Cincinnati area takes a back seat to none. Go Bearcats!
