Halfway through the college football season the Cincinnati Bearcats are currently 6-1, ranked 18th in the AP poll, and are in first place in the American East division. The Bearcat defense leads the FBS in takeaways with 19 turnovers in seven games. In four of the next five games the Bearcats have an 87% or more chance of winning. The only game they aren’t predicted to win is the final game away against Memphis. If they were to win out, which I think they have a good chance to, they could find themselves playing in conference championship against 16th ranked SMU. They became bowl eligible after their win on Saturday against Tulsa and if they go 12-1, including winning the conference, I think they have a good shot of playing in a New Year’s Six bowl. Here are my predictions for the remainder of the Bearcats season.
