Alabama RB Jerome Ford is transferring to Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bearcats land former 4 star running back Jerome Ford. Ford is just finishing his redshirt freshman season at Alabama. A little less than a week of being in the transfer portal Cincinnati is able to secure the talented back.

The running back from Seffner, Florida played in four games (starting one) last season rushing for 114 yards on 24 carries and three touchdowns.

The Alabama to Cincinnati connection has been strong as of late as Kyriq McDonald transferred in last season.

Unless Ford gets a waiver he will have to sit out the 2020 season, but we will see how that plays out. If he gets to play this season he may be able to take some of the carries left behind by Mike Warren II who entered the NFL draft, if not he will be in play after Gerrid Doaks graduates the following year.

Welcome Jerome we look forward you ballin’ in black and red!
