Digging deeper into the Bearcats final four games

HOME – Temple – 3/7

Temple is a team I worry about every time UC plays them regardless of which team has what record. It seems to never matter, this matchup of teams has already been predetermined by the basketball god’s to always finish with single digit margins, and I expect no less for a Senior night game. UC gutted out a big time win at Temple back in January, but they will need to step up defensively and not let Temple’s guards both score 20+ again like they did in the first matchup. This game I feel the most confident about, simply because of the energy that will be in the building for this one. UC will say goodbye to Jaevin Cumberland, Chris McNeal, Tre Scott, and some guy named Jarron Cumberland.

Prediction: Win – Tre and Jarron lead the way in their final home games both scoring 20+ while the sold out arena keeps the energy going from start to finish and Brannen ends his first regular season as head coach with a win.

Bearcats finish the regular season 20-10 with a chance to win a 3rd straight conference tournament and solidify themselves in a 10th consecutive NCAA tournament.
