DE Deonte Anderson talks UC offer with TFON

JS: The University of Cincinnati is known for their defense and amazing atmosphere, what about the program excites you the most?

DA: Knowing that they are an aggressive defensive team. Being that I am a defensive end, I have the ability to continue doing what I like most and that’s working hard.

JS: Being a defensive end you have a lot to work on what do you focus on most in your game or what is one part of your game you would like to improve on?

DA: I would like to improve my hands and using different techniques to get around the offense of lineman.


JS: Why did you start playing football?

DA: I never really had an interest in it when I was small until I moved to Fort Meade, Fl with my granddad and he started teaching me the ropes. Being that he’s an Auburn Tiger Football Alumni and Tampa Buccaneers player, he pretty much instilled it in me. So all I know is hard work, dedication, and making my family proud.


JS: During the recruitment process what are you looking for from a program?
DA: A chance to prove myself to them and standout, Also, the ability to meet goals and become a great student-athlete!

JS: Were you able to go to any camps before the virus?

DA: No sir I wasn’t able to, unfortunately.

JS: Do you have a set date on when you would like to commit?

DA: No sir, I do not.

JS: What are your goals in life?

DA: To be on top and repaying my family for all they have done for me.


JS: Describe your game and what you bring to the field?


DA: My game is versatile. I have the ability to use my speed, length, and size to pretty much take on any offense. Plus I have heart.
