AAC commissioner Mike Aresco announces Covid-19 testing protocol before football games

Earlier in the day the American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco announced coronavirus testing for all football teams at least 72 hours before each game. Aresco plans to do this for all fall sports.

He stated testing will be done for regular and bowl games. The conference is still working on protocols if somebody tests positive and what will that look like, but for now we know testing will be done consistently and I’m guessing teams in the AAC won’t play school that aren’t testing at the same level.

This is big new for the AAC and the Bearcats, TFON will update the masses once the AAC updates their protocol.
