Mason Madsen is the second player from the portal to return to Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Bearcats just got great news as sophomore combo guard Mason Madsen has announced he’s withdrawing from the portal and returning for his sophomore season! This is big news for the Bearcats as they landed two big pieces from the class of 2020 back after Mikey Saunders, Jr. announced he was returning yesterday for the Bearcats. The Wes Miller effect is in full go mode as he has hit the ground running to rebuild the roster after a mess exodus a month ago. This is big for the Bearcats as Madsen showed tremendous growth over the course of the year including a career high 19 points versus East Carolina University. Madson averaged 6.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists per game.

The 2020 recruiting class is back to two of the four freshman who entered the portal are back in the red and black for the 2021 season!
