James Wiggins gets selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals

Safety James Wiggins was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He was the 243rd pick of the NFL Draft. Wiggins makes the third Bearcat that has been drafted. Last season he was first team All-AAC. After an impressive Pro Day, I’m personally shocked that he was drafted this late, after his sophomore season he was projected as a second round prospect, but a knee injury took his junior season away.

He had 87 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, a sack, five interceptions and a touchdown during his career at UC.

Congrats to James!
