Wes Miller lands a commitment from big man Sage Tolentino

Today the Wes Miller continued to build to what he has started since becoming head coach back in March. Sage Tolentino is a high three star, seven foot tall center in the class of 2022 from Hamilton High School here in Cincinnati, but is originally from Hawaii. Tolentino recently decommitted from Auburn a month ago and decided to reopen his commitment where he eventually decided to come stay home and join Wes Miller and the Bearcats program. Tolentino is currently ranked the 155th player in the class of 2022, ranked the 23rd center in the country, while he is ranked the 4th best player in the state of Ohio in his class according to 247 Sports, while Rivals.com has him ranked as high as the 127th player in the class of 2022 and 19th center in the country. Tolentino has offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Tennessee State, Auburn, but has also heard from Georgia, USC and more.

This is a great grab for Wes Miller and the Bearcats staff as he provides great upside for the Bearcats due to his length, athleticism, and his ability to score the ball. The Cincinnati native is looking to make an immediate impact when he steps on campus in 2022 and will play a big role for the Bearcats for the near future! This is a guy that will bring a lot of energy to Fifth Third Arena and will have fans going crazy when he arrives on campus. Cincinnati fans should follow him along his senior year as he will finish his high school career off at Hamilton High School this year. Tolentino becomes the first high school recruit to announce their commitment to new head coach Wes Miller, and coach Miller is making it known he wants to recruit all over the country including in the local Cincinnati area.

The Front Office News would like to welcome Sage Tolentino to the Bearcats family! We are very excited for the future and can’t wait to see him represent Cincinnati to be the next hometown hero in the red and black!
