TFON speaks with St. Edward HS (OH) OT Ben Roebuck

JS: How was the visit overall? What did you get to do during the visit?

BR: I had a great time during the visit. It was really amazing to see a full stadium of fans. We walked around the tailgate for a little bit then we got to watch the catwalk I believed they called it where all the players walked through the fans. We watched a couple hype videos for the team and then got to stand on the sidelines for some if the warmups which was really cool to see.

JS: Did you get talk to any of the coaching staff?

BR: I got to talk to (offensive line) coach (Ron) Crook for a little bit on the sidelines.

JS:  How has the recruiting process been for you so far with covid behind us and you guys actually being able to go to places and do the full process?

BR: It’s been really great. Cincinnati was my second visit and they’re so cool to go to!

JS: How would you describe your game?

BR: A part of my game, I really like is my pass protection. It’s something that’s become effortless in game, it’s starting to become muscle memory.

JS: What do people need to know about you as a person and an athlete?

BR: There’s really not that much to know about me. I would say that I’m simply a good person.

JS: What are you looking to accomplish this upcoming football season?

BR: A state championship of course everything else comes after.

JS: Do you model your game after anyone in the NFL or is there anyone in the NFL you would compare your game too?

BR: I love Quenton Nelsons play style. He’s nasty every play and since he joined the league he’s been so dominant.

JS: Do you plan on coming back to campus anytime in the near future?

BR: I hope so!

TFON wants to thank Ben for the opportunity to ask a couple of questions about the visit and we hope that the rest of your year goes great! Best of luck in the future!
