Per Chad Brendel of Bearcat Journal, Cincinnati Bearcats cornerback Coby Bryant is switching from No. 7 to No. 8 for the Cotton Bowl against Alabama. Bryant who has the same name as late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, will be honoring his name sake with the change.
Brendel posted a picture of the number change at practice, it would be pretty cool if Bryant rocks No. 8 on New Year’s Eve.
