Guard David DeJulius announced on Twitter that he will be returning to the program for the 2022-23 season. DeJulius will take advantage of his covid year to the delight of the Bearcats staff. He averaged 14.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists shooting 82.6 from the line. He had a team high nine 20 plus point games this season. He made the Third Team All-AAC in his senior season.
With Mike Saunders and Mason Madsen in the portal DeJulius staying gives the backcourt stability. If the staff can fill the open slots with the right pieces next year could the Bearcats make a run?
