Memphis transfer guard Landers Nolley II commits to Cincinnati

Memphis guard Landers Nolley II entered the transfer portal on April 2nd. The 6-foot-7, 208 pound guard from Fairburn, Georgia visited Cincinnati on Sunday and after a few days of thinking he’s decided to become a Bearcat. Last season, Nolley battled a knee injury, but averaged 9.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 41.4% from the field, 33.6% from three and 79.5% from the line. He will be a redshirt senior, but should have two years of eligibility left being that he’s only played three years.

Nolley had his best year at Virginia Tech as a freshman averaging 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists, earning All-ACC Freshman Team honors. Landing the Memphis transfer is huge, Nolley has a smooth game and provides experience, length and athleticism.

Cincinnati now have a full roster and with the additions will look very different for the 2022-2023 season.
