Bearcats make 4 star defensive back Amare Snowden’s Top 6

This afternoon Bearcats top priority target Amare Snowden named his Top 6 schools that included Kentucky, Penn State, Cincinnati, Wisconsin, Iowa and Howard. Snowden is a four star defensive back, where he attends Roseville High School in the Detroit, Michigan area. Snowden is a priority target for the Bearcats as the Defensive back stands 6-foot-3, weighing 190 pounds, and provides incredible length and athleticism, there’s a reason why the Bearcats staff is making him a priority, as they just saw another Detroit native become the highest Bearcat ever drafted to the NFL when Sauce Gardner was selected 4th overall to the New York Jets.

Snowden, reminds me of Sauce in so many ways, the length, and athleticism is what stands out the most, and his tape shows why he is one of the Bearcats top priorities in the class of 2023. Snowden has been on campus quite a few times over the last year and Cincinnati fans should keep an eye on this top prospect heading into the fall. Snowden is ranked the 6th best player in the state of Michigan, and the 34th cornerback in the country. He is also ranked just outside the Top 300 where he is ranked the 324th player in the country. This would be a huge grab for Kerry Coombs and the Bearcats coaching staff, as Snowden has offers from nearly 40 plus universities, that include Notre Dame, Purdue, Ole Miss, Indiana, Penn State, Nebraska, Arkansas, West Virginia, Iowa and much more. Snowden is also coming off a dynamic performance at the Rivals Camp Series where he was named the DB MVP after locking up many talented receivers along with some top notch tight end prospects as well.

Snowden is also a dynamic two sport athlete where he is also is a baseball star at Roseville High School as well, which I mentioned his athleticism above, this is why as Snowden also just threw a no hitter last week where he recorded 13 strike outs, three walks, and also launched a home run in Roseville’s victory. Could we potentially see Snowden dominate on the field of Nippert Stadium as well as the diamond of UC Baseball Stadium? I guess we will find out in the future.
