Chiefs S Bryan Cook gets first NFL interception in preseason Week 3 game vs Packers

The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers opened up preseason Week 3 in the NFL this week. The Chiefs have former Bearcat safety, Bryan Cook, who is impressing many coaches and is looking to step in for the Chiefs’ former Safety Tyrann Mathieu. Cook made a significant impact in his final preseason game of the year as he was able to pick off Jordan Love deep in Kansas City territory and prevent the Packers from getting any points before the half. Cook finished the game with a pass deflection and four tackles (two solo). Receiving a lot of praise from the broadcast during the game as they had this quote to say about him “One of the things that really stood out in his college career at Cincinnati was his ability to play the run and the pass.” Cook is well known around Cincinnati for his exceptional play and the ability to bring the boom. So far in the NFL, even though it is preseason Cook has made exceptional plays and has shown his big play ability multiple times in camp and during preseason games.
