Cincinnati Bearcats Midseason report card: Offense

The Cincinnati Bearcats head into their bye week 5-1 (2-0 in the AAC) ranked No. 21 in the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll. Their only loss was against Arkansas the first week of the season by seven points. With losing so many players to the NFL most thought this would be a rebuilding year, but so far even though the team hasn’t played a full or clean game yet they are clearly very talented in all facets of the game.

The offense averages 38.2 points per game which ranks them 25th in the NCAA. This unit averages 435.5 total yards which ranks 48th, 156.8 yards per game rushing which ranks 67th and 278.7 yards per game passing which ranks 27th in the NCAA.

This unit as a whole has been pretty balanced minus the Indiana game. With that being said let’s check out the first half grades.
