Bearcats move up in the Coaches Poll and stay stationary in the AP

Per GoBearcats:

The Cincinnati football team remained at No. 21 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll that was released on Sunday. 

The Bearcats are ranked for the third consecutive week in the Top 25.

UC has now been ranked by the AP in 47 of the last 51 weeks, dating back to 2019.

Additionally, the Bearcats are ranked No. 19 in the AFCA Coaches Poll.

Cincinnati (5-1) is winners of five straight.

Following an open date, the Bearcats return to action this Saturday at 12 p.m. ET at SMU on ESPN. Cincinnati can tied the league record for consecutive AAC regular season wins (17) with a victory over the Mustangs. 

The Bearcats have completed the last four seasons in the final AP Top 25, finishing:

No. 24 in 2018

No. 21 in 2019

No. 8 in 2020

No. 4 in 2021
