Linebacker:
This group is led by transfer senior Ivan Pace, Jr., the brother of Deshawn is arguably the best linebacker in college football. Pace has 62 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. This young man is a game wrecker if you’ve watched this squad at all this year you’ve seen No. 0. The group of Deshawn Pace, Ty Van Fossen, Will Huber and Jaheim Thomas have been playing very well all season as well.
Huber and Van Fossen are second and third on the team in tackles with 33 and 32 a piece respectively.
This group is very athletic and can make plays in the back field and in the passing game, this is currently the best unit on the defensive side of the ball.
