The Cincinnati Bearcats were at home for Nipp at Night on a short week against a tough ECU team that was coming off their bye week and a couple of impressive wins before this contest. The Bearcats put up 310 total yards against the tough ECU defense in the win. The unit went 6-of-14 on third down and scored both times they reach the red zone. It wasn’t the prettiest win of the Fickell era, but the Bearcats pulled it off 27-25.
