Earlier this morning, KingJoseph Edwards, a high four-star prospect out of Buford, Georgia announced his Top 15, that included the Bearcats. Edwards, a 6’5”, 240-pound tight end in the class of 2024 is currently rated the 38th player in the country, while being the fifth ranked athlete in the country per 247 sports. Edwards, a massive tight end that plays very physical and can do it all, has seen time playing both sides of the ball as well during his high school career as a hybrid defensive tackle.
Edwards holds nearly 40 offers (35 to be exact), but he listed his final 15 schools that include Cincinnati, Michigan State, Alabama, Georgia, NC State, Tennessee, Michigan, USC, Florida State, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
Edwards would be a huge target for coach Satterfield and the Bearcats in his first full recruiting cycle as head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats as they prepare for the transition to the Big 12 here very shortly. Edwards is a nationally touted prospect and will be someone turning a lot of heads for the near future and many years to come for those who have watched his tape before as that would be a huge addition for the Bearcats if he decides to choose Cincinnati.
