Today, redshirt senior Lorenz Metz declared for the NFL Draft. The offensive guard from Neuotting, Germany will not be taking advantage of his extra year of eligibility. Metz stands 6-foot-9 and weighs 330 pounds. He’s played tackle and guard, shining the most at guard, he’s played a lot of football the last four years for the Bearcats. He only started three games this season battling an injury in the offseason, but in 2021 he was First Team All-AAC during the Bearcats run to the College Football Playoff.
