J.T.’s offensive game balls in 27-21 win over Pitt

Yesterday, the Cincinnati Bearcats traveled to Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to knock off the Pittsburgh Panthers in a 27-21 win. Last week, they had 667 total yards, it wasn’t the same game, but had 371 yards in total offense, 20 first downs, went 6-of-16 on third down, went 2-of-2 on fourth down and 3-for-3 in the red zone.

Pitt was a different challenge and overall I think Cincinnati answered the call, the second half wasn’t as clean as the first half for sure, but stepping up in competition that’s going to happen.

Let’s check out who earned TFON game balls!

Emory Jones, quarterback

Jones didn’t have an EKU game, but he made plays with his arm and feet all day. He had 18-for-26, 125 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 17 yards. Jones played with an even temperament and it was needed on the road.
