Ohio’s Atty. Gen. Dave Yost threatening legal action against NCAA on behalf of Bearcats transfer Aziz Bandaogo

Last night, WCPO’s Caleb Noe reported that Ohio’s Attorney General Dave Yost is threading legal action against the NCAA, after Cincinnati big man transfer Aziz Bandaogo was declared ineligible. At Big 12 Tip Off Bearcats head coach Wes Miller announced that Bandaogo and Jamille Reynolds waivers were denied. In this situation it is rough because the NCAA changed their policies after both guys had already entered the portal and transferred.

Bandaogo is a bouncy 7-footer that gave the Bearcats 15 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in last year’s NIT Quarterfinal.

With Dave Yost in the mix, the Bearcats will at least force results hopefully it is the result that will be fair to Bandaogo as the NCAA currently doesn’t have any rhyme or reason in their decisions.
