The Cincinnati Bearcats (2-7, 0-6 Big 12) traveled to Houston, Texas to take on the Houston Cougars (4-5, 2-4 Big 12) in search of their first Big 12 victory. The first match up between both programs since the 2021 AAC Championship Game where the Bearcats defeated the Cougars 35-20 to secure their big to the College Football Playoff.

The Bearcats snap a seven-game losing streak following a dominating 24-14 victory over Houston en route to their first ever Big 12 victory.
