Less than 20 weeks remain until the Cincinnati Bearcats take the field for the first time in 2024, when they will host Towson Saturday, August 31st at Nippert Stadium. With Spring Practice and the Spring Game now in the rearview mirror, the focus now shifts towards the Bearcats coaching staff filling out the roster through the transfer portal and the last few scholarships they have. The start of Fall Camp is just under three-and-a-half months away.
For us at The Front Office News, we want to give you an overview of each position group on the Bearcats roster. Having called Bearcats Football games before, I can tell you the prep work is enormous. I’ve done spotting boards ranging from 90 players all the way to 156. It can be hard to keep track of all those players and position groups, with the depth chart going seven deep sometimes. So we’re going to go through each position group on the roster- separate articles for each of the 11 position groups- by listing each player in that group and what they have done so far in their Bearcats/college careers and where they stand going into this season. With that, here’s a look at the 14 cornerbacks on the Bearcats roster going into 2024.
