The Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub was caught by LB Joe Mays with a vicious hit that caused Schaub to lose his helmet and a chunk of his ear at the damn same time *Future voice*. This is the first time I’ve seen this in the NFL off of a hit. It brought back thoughts of the Tyson/Holyfield fight even though this was in a totally different arena.
After this hit people around the league may have a little fear of Mays. Who else can say I knock flesh off?
Side note this was an illegal hit per the NFL rules that the replacement refs missed.

These fools miss a ton of shit! The NFL keeps trying to make the game safer, but the safest thing they could do is to settle the deal with the refs. ASAP
Schaub got popped and that will definitely be a fine. But Houston murdered Denver.
