Gilbert Arenas will be one of the highest paid players this season in the NBA despite not being on a NBA roster. Arenas is due $22 million dollars going back from a deal that he received when he was a Washington Wizard.
Last season Arenas played in China, and appears to be gaining his health back. Prior to being in China, Agent 0 had forgettable stints in Orlando and Memphis. We all know that Arenas isn’t near his “Hibachi” days, but I think that he could be a serviceable bench player.
Arenas, who was a perenial All-Star ran into health issues (knee), and off court issues (gun incident in locker room). I don’t know if it is the Instagram workouts he has posted on his page (Sorry Steve Blake), but I have a small glimpse of hope for Gilbert Arenas.
Arenas will never light up teams for 50 or 60 points again, but it will be fun to see him suit up one last time. Arenas is only 31 so there is a chance that a team will take a chance on him for a very cheap price.
