Athletes Beware of the Kardashian Family

It’s no secret, who the Kardashian family is in the world of sports. From matriarch of the family Kris Jenner (Kardashian), Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim(does Harlem Shake). In this case I’ll leave Kourtney off the hook since she hasn’t damaged any athletes thus far.

I’ll start off with Kris, who has publicly humiliated her now separated Husband former Olympic Gold Medalist Bruce Jenner. I have a guilty pleasure in watching the Kardashian show (on mute), there has been instances where Bruce is obviously insulted by Kris.

Since marrying Kris, Bruce has had a lot of things go wrong. From his plastic surgery, to public humiliation, and now separating from his wife has made life hard for the former Olympian.

Khloe Khloe Khloe…. I thought she was the most down the earth person, and she may very well be, but something isn’t right with her. Khole dated Rashad McCants in 2009. Ironically that was McCants’s last year in the NBA. I’m not saying Khloe was the reason for the end of McCants’s career, but hey who knows.

Khole then took her talents to Lamar Odom. Poor Lamar Odom was coming off of a NBA title, and randomly married her in 2009. Things were going well for L.O. In the 2010-2011 season he won the NBA 6th man of the year award. After that season he was randomly traded to the Dallas Mavs.

Since Odom’s heartbreaking trade from the Lake show he has been released from the Dallas Mavericks, and recently went into a random suspension of crack cocaine use, and he is not on a NBA roster after averaging 4.0ppg and 6.0rpg for the Los Angeles Clippers. It’s hard to see a NBA team giving Odom a chance at this point. Whether plays basketball or not I hope that Odom gets his life on track.

Now onto the undisputed MVP Kim Kardashian.

Kim can write a book on her chronicles, so I won’t go into every detail about all of her public relationships with athletes. I will say that Miles Austin, Reggie Bush, and Kris Humphries all have had their ups and downs with Kim.

At the time she was with Austin he was coming off of his best year of his career. Since then Austin hasn’t been the player the Cowboys thought he’d be at this point. Austin could be the perfect complement to Dez Bryant, but it appears that the Kardashian curse still has a strong hold on him.

My dawg Reggie Bush is flourishing right now, but he had to go through some rough stretches. After winning the Super Bowl, Bush had an up and down stint with the Saints and Dolphins. Now that Bush is in Detroit it appears that he may have shaken the Kardashian curse. The football season is only six weeks in so I don’t want to say anymore that could possibly jinx Bush.

“Kris my homie I hated it had to be him”. Kris Humprhies was a walking 10 and 10 before saying “I do” to Kim. Since then he has fallen off the wagon a bit, but looks to regain his form with a new opportunity with the Boston Celtics. Only time will tell… Only time will tell.

Word to the wise don’t wife anyone with the Kardashian last name. Like Jay said “He don’t wife ’em, he one night’s ’em”! Hey, might sound cruel, but that may be the best method when dealing with the Kardashian gang.
