The Ohio State/Northwestern game was a thriller as was the Stanford/Washington game. Both teams that lost have nothing to hang their heads about they may not be out of the BCS picture just yet. Georgia lucked up against Tennessee.
Overall I think we picked some good games last week, let’s see what games you should pay attention to this weekend.
Saturday 10/12
#25 Missouri @ #7 Georgia, ESPN, Noon- Georgia is coming off of a major scare last week by the hands of Tennessee. The Bulldogs lost a few important pieces during that game for the season so this will be interesting to see how they bounce back. Will Mizzou steal one on the road?
#17 Florida @ #10 LSU, CBS, 3:30 PM- Florida hasn’t looked great all year but they only have one lost this season in that was out of conference to a top 20 team. LSU only has one lost as well. Will Mettenberger be able to slang the pill like he did against Georgia?
#19 Northwestern @ Wisconsin, ABC/ESPN 2, 3:30 PM- These two teams lost tight games to OSU consecutive weeks. Northwestern looked very explosive in turnovers did them in against the Bucks will they be able to rebound against the well-rounded Badgers? This will be a good Big Ten battle.
#2 Oregon @ #16 Washington, Fox Sports 1, 4 PM- Oregon is a scoring machine even without Chip. Washington has a sleeper team in just battled Stanford to the end in a tight loss. Oregon better not sleep on Washington on the road or they could be their wings clipped lol. This will be an interesting mid day game.
