It was upset city in College Football this weekend

It happens at least once a year in college football, what is that might you ask? When at least two teams get upset that you didn’t see taking defeat at the beginning of he week. Week 7 in college football was the week of the Upset.

Let’s highlight the games that caught me by surprise.

#18 Michigan vs Penn State- Penn State shocked the world to win 43-40 in a 4 overtime game. For Ohio State fans this is bitter sweet on the BCS side. This game is a staple in the resurgence of the Penn State program.

#25 Missouri vs # 7 Georgia- Georgia is the team the media always hypes but always disappoints. Missouri won 41-26 but lost the battle because starting QB James Franklin dislocated his shoulder in is lost for the season. Maybe next year the Bulldogs will live up to the hype?

evc_20131013_Stanford_vs_Utah_157930#5 Stanford vs Utah- Probably the biggest upset of the weekend. Utah knocked off Stanford 27-21. I didn’t see that coming. Not all is lost for Stanford but it will make their game against Oregon that much more important. Shoutout to Utah for helping OSU in the BCS picture.

This weekend highlights why people love college football so much.
