2013 Week 15: College Games of the Week

After last weekend nothing is out of the question. Watching the OSU/Michigan and Auburn/Bama games probably cut a few years off of my life, but I’m here for good football. If you didn’t see how both games ended just know that FSU and OSU are currently in position to meet for the National Championship if they don’t have a major slip up in their conference title games.
Check out the games you need to be watching this weekend.

Thursday 12/5

kay#19 Louisville @ Cincinnati, ESPN, 7:30- Yes, I’m throwing my Bearcats a bone. This Thursday this game is must see TV, could possibly be the regular season game where we see Teddy Bridgewater play and it’s senior night for the Bearcats so you know they will be up for the challenge. The Keg of Nails rivalry is big business.

Saturday 12/7

#5 Missouri vs #3 Auburn, CBS, 4 PM (Georgia Dome in Atlanta)- SEC Championship Game. Both teams come into the game with one loss and neither are the teams that the SEC predicted to make it here at the beginning of the season. Both teams have an outside chance to play in the National Championship game. Auburn is a running team and Missouri likes to spread you out. It should be an interesting game, but does Auburn have any magic left? If not, will the newly instated Tigers shake up the SEC?

#20 Duke vs #1 Florida St, ABC, 8 PM (Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte)- ACC Championship Game. Minus the rape case cloud, life is great for FSU fans. I mean it really shouldn’t be much of a game against Duke. Shoutout to Duke for making the ACC Title game, they don’t just play basketball at that school huh? With Winston under center FSU should seal the deal and head to the National Title game.

Braxton Miller#2 Ohio St vs #10 Michigan St, FOX, 8:17 PM (Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis)- Big Ten Championship Game. OSU/MSU always play tough games so this will not be a cake walk. MSU has the best defense OSU has played all year, but I expect the backfield of Miller and Hyde to open up the chance to attack through the air. MSU is a physical team on offense and defense. Can they give the Buckeyes their first defeat in the last two years? If OSU wins they will be in the National Title game, I expect this game to be very competitive.

This is the last “games of the week” post until next year, maybe we will do a “bowl games of the week” or season segment. Make sure you check all of these games out. Will it be FSU/OSU? Let us know who you think should be in the National Title game? Until next year, PEACE!!!
