When the rumors started leaking that the Bucks were going to buyout Caron Butler’s contract everyone and their momma thought he was taking his talents to South Beach. Heat band wagoners, I mean fans everywhere were excited and rightfully so. The chance of Butler taking Shane Battier’s minutes had to be a very exciting thought right?
It seemed like the Heat were getting richer and making a move that would help them gear up for the Pacers. Mastermind Riley was at it again, but this time he was spurned by Butler who chose to sign with the Thunder.
The Thunder are getting a forward who can guard multiple positions and still score coming off the bench. This helps the much improved bench unit.
Butler is 11.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg this season with the Bucks.
This is a nice move for the Thunder. I know KD and the gang are happy about this move.
