Jimmer Time in Chicago

jimmer-fredette-bullsNow that Jimmer Fredette is free from basketball jail, he may get a chance to prove he’s a solid NBA player. Basketball jail= Sacramento Kings, it’s like a life sentence for players trying to find their way in the NBA.

The Chicago Bulls signed Fredette, Sunday. Jimmer was the man at BYU, but while in Sac Town he didn’t get much of a chance to sink or swim during his two and a half years.

In minimal time this season Jimmer has put up good numbers. He’s averaging 5.9 ppg while shooting 47.5% from the field and 49.3% from 3. Pretty good shooting while not even averaging 12 minutes per game.

If you watch the Bulls at all you know they need shooting and you can never have enough shooting on the court. Maybe Jimmer can resurrect his career in Chicago.

With the Bulls currently in the 3rd spot in the East, Jimmer will get his first taste of playoff basketball. Let’s see if Jimmer can do what the likes of Nate Robinson and D.J. Augustine have done in Chi Town.
