R.I.P. Charlotte Bobcats

Sunrise November 2, 2004- Sundown April 28, 2014.

The Bobcats made the playoffs twice and were swept both times. During a 10 year history they had a record of 293-511.

The Bobcats were eliminated during Monday night by the Miami Heat. The Bobcats were surprise participants in the playoffs this year and they actually played the Heat tough even tough they got swept.

The Bobcats lost the series and lost its name on the same day because next year they will be the Hornets again. And the Hornets seem to be in a good position for the future with Kemba Walker leading the back court and Al Jefferson leading the front court.

I can’t say all good things come to an end because the Bobcats history is very meager, but they at least end on a good note. Hopefully the Hornets name helps Charlotte to keep moving in the right direction.

R.I.P Bobcats, welcome back Hornets.
