I had the privilege attend the 8th annual RNB Classic this summer. The Classic was held in Columbus, Ohio, and was headlined by founder Leon Rodgers, Jared Sullinger, and Trey Burke. It finished it’s 8th annual event, and like in previous years, was a success. The event is a great time for families, friends, and has all-day festivities.
As you’d imagine, the celebrity basketball game/battle for peace classic was a highlight filled event. Team Sully defeated Team Burke 107-102. Sullinger led his team with 34 points and in a losing effort Burke scored 47 points. Team Sully was coached by Evan Turner and the game featured players such as Scoonie Penn, Terrance Dials, J.J. Sullinger, George Reese, Devon Moore, Evan Ravenel, Jon Diebler, and Estaban Weaver. Check out the video below, and shout out to Yaves Ellis and Fresh Laundry for the footage.
