NBA Playoffs: Derrick Rose seems to have a new found bounce

The last few years have an emotional rollercoaster for Derrick Rose, he has went from the high of being the MVP to the lows of not knowing if he will be able to depend on his body to allow him to the play the game he loves. During this current season Rose seemed to be taking positive strides in becoming an everyday consistent player and then around the all-star break an MCL injury popped up. Because of the magnitude of the tear Rose opted for the quickest option back and for the Bulls it seems like it was smart choice for the 2014-15 season.

The sample size of his latest return is small as he got a few games in before the season was over and with only two games down in the playoffs it seems as Rose has a very lively bounce in his step. Rose had an effective game one and a solid game two, but just him being of the floor pushing the tempo and getting his teammates involved is a big plus.

During the two games Rose has averaged 19 points, 8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1 block. His shooting numbers are decent from the field and from three, but the thing that Bulls fans have to be excited about is that you can see Rose taking it to the paint on a consistent basis. While watching the game he at times is looking like Sonic the Hedgehog, while I joke it’s true (lol).

While the Bulls are up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks, the question is whether they sweep them or allow a game 5! If you have been watching any basketball this season you know the 2nd round will be interesting if Rose can keep up his aggressiveness. Prayers up that Rose can finish the playoffs and it will make for a very interesting Bulls/Cavs series.
