Ranking the current Top 5 Welterweights

Now that Floyd Mayweather has hung up his gloves the welterweight division has a lot of young guns that are fighting for the throne. This division is full of very skilled and hungry fighters that aren’t scared to fight anybody in their class which will make it very interesting for years to come.

I’m an avid boxing watcher and I’m ranking my Top 5 Welterweights.

  1. Danny Garcia, 34-1

Garcia’s only loss is against Keith Thurman who is arguable the best in the division. He is about to fight Porter so if he wins that fight in September they could swap spots. He is a tough fighter with a granite chin and a nice check left hook. It is a couple of fights I’ve watched that I thought he lost so that goes into my reasons why he is at five.
