Buckeyes Urban Meyer and AD Gene Smith suspended for three games

Ohio State Buckeyes head football coach Urban Meyer and athletic director Gene Smith have both been suspended three games. Meyer will not be on the sideline against Oregon State, Rutgers and TCU.

A copy of the 23 page report link is embedded.

Meyer and Smith are suspended without pay during the three games, but Meyer can return to the team after September 2nd.

Everybody knows how huge this story was when it first broke the firing of wide receivers coach Zach Smith and then the findings that reporter Brett McMurphy brought up. With how good the Buckeyes are expected to be this season (picked preseason 5th) this has been an interesting preseason. They will have now Meyer for a little over a month because he has been on leave since August 1st.

Now that this situation has closure what are your thoughts should Meyer and Smith been fired, suspended longer or not suspended at all?
